Ever wondered how many jobs an industry contributes to your local economy? How much household income a group of businesses generates in your county? In the fall of 2009, Decision Innovation Solutions produced a report on the state of Iowa including both county and state levels of analysis to determine just that. Then, in 2014 and 2019 Decision Innovation Solutions updated that data. The primary focus of the research was to quantify what agriculture and agribusiness contribute to all of Iowa's 99 counties and the state as a whole.
