Decision Innovation Solutions (DIS) was hired by the project team made up of The City of Grinnell, Poweshiek Iowa Development (POW I-80) and Grinnell College to produce a Feasibility Study and Economic Development Impact Study for each of the application projects for the Iowa Reinvestment District Program. In addition, DIS created and managed a collaborative work environment using its Office 365 and SharePoint Online site so all co-authors could work on the application together.
The final Grinnell application can be viewed here. The completion of this application helped them secure the funds to work on several projects, which have been featured in these articles below.
- The Zone of Confluence mentioned at the bottom of this article was part of the IRA application.
- The city hall mentioned here is going to be repurposed into a boutique hotel which was part of the IRA application.
