Decision Innovation Solutions (DIS) worked with public and private partners to create an analytical tool that gauged the biomass potential in a large section of the State of Iowa. The 2011 Northeast Iowa Biomass Map uses multifaceted spatial analysis, which recognizes logistics, economics and environmental concerns, allowing for an understanding of the benefits and risks to the State of Iowa.
