Nebraska Irrigation Case Study

After the drought of 2012, the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation worked with Decision Innovation Solutions (DIS) to determine what the ability of Nebraska farmers to irrigate crops means for the state’s economy. The results of this study found that in the absence of irrigation, Nebraska would have 32,221 fewer jobs and nearly $11.0 billion in lost output.
